Ulu Yam
So, just want to post some pictures here.

Looks nice that away from the hectic city and workloads. It was time for a relaxing and tranquil acts. It was past 2 weeks ago. My colleagues which were Jeffery, Ken and me went to Ulu Yam for waterfall. But then we didn't went for the 'waterfall' instead the mini downstream. We couldn't find the waterfall as we all were not familiar with that place.
We started our journey on Sunday late afternoon towards from Batu Caves to Ulu Yam direction. Sunday afternoon was a good time to have fun at waterfall. Less people. Less traffic. Less noise.
We took our brunch at the Ulu Yam town at mamak. Ken stated that 'maggi mee goreng' was the best to eat, so far, far away from town. We couldn't find the best local dish: 'Loh-mee'.
We had a good time although 3 of us nothing much else to do but soak in the cold clean water while shivering and trembling. I didn't soak in cos I wasn't prepared with extra lingerie. The whole time I was the camera-gal holder to capture the scenes and pictures.
R contains Adult Situations ;P

This coming weekends might have plan for another visit to the waterfall of Ulu Yam.

Spider-Cat
Although this might load very slow, I advise to pause the video for a while before play.
After his stunts, the taxi came and I carried him down before I left. I scared that he might jump over the fence that reach to neighbour house.

Adobe Photoshop World Asia 2006
It begins at 9.000am at Hilton KL til 5.00pm. It started with 2 Speakers who were Ton Frederiks, Senior Application Engineer, Adobe Systems Benelux, Holland and Marianne Young, Solutions Engineer, Adobe Systems, South East Asia. Both of them were presented quite good that most of the attendees didn't fall asleep.
That workshop is mainly talk about Adobe Photoshop CS2 top new features that work efficiently in editing, processing and file handling with Adobe Bridge. Marianne and Ton showed alot of tricks and tips on certain command/short-cut keys to create and artwork with an image. What I like most of the feature in Photoshop CS2 is the 'Vanishing point' which match the perspective of a surrounding area.
The workshop has 3 part session which are Photoshop Geeks, Darkroom Academy and lastly the Photography Live. The Photography Live session was bad because the Speaker was dull and boring with his speeches. Mostly he talked more on the product rather than his own portfolio/achievements. Some of the attendees were sleeping that I managed to capture one in the picture.
Overall, that workshop is an advantage for me to learn something new in their software although I'm still using the old version of Photoshop.

Taste of Summer at Starbucks

The event was crowded with 2 clowns, DJ and alot of baristas and staff. The event were opened for the invitated guests where we were given privileges to drink whatever they provided like Iced Tazo green tea, iced water and Iced coffee. They had a corner of free body-paint. Most of the staff had painted on their faces or arms/hand. The guests were not left out.
The event started at past 3pm where the guests divided into 3 group where accompany by the staff leader itself. The game is starting with booth hopping where given an introduction of certain new drinks/foods to taste and drink and provided with a question to win the game from each booth. There were 3 booths; 1)New Frappuccino drinks: Java Chip & Chocolate Cream Chip 2)New hot Coffee drinks: Kopi Kampung, Brazil Ipanema & Peru Ipanema 3)New summer food-Banana Chocolate Chip Muffin.
From a group itself divided into 2 team where both team need to compete each other to win the game. How ironic. My group - Green, split into 2 where my team was the loser that lost mostly to the young generation who were energetic and more paying attention than us. Jeffery and me were in a team where else Ken was in another team with the youngsters. Whatever the game was, my team will lose pathetically.
So, Ken's team won the prizes. Next was the lucky draws section and Ken got lucky to get picked that his tagname's number was called. I got nothing but got into finalist on Best Summer Attire category. They called out 3 finalist in Best Female Summer Attire and 3 finalist in Best Male Summer Attire.
I was wearing shocking pink pant with vibrant orange V-neck shirt. Sadly I didn't win anything, again. But luckily that we were wasn't empty handed when the event was over. Every each guest who leave the event were given a goodies bag.
At least, I got something from Starbucks. :)

Summary: Starbucks Coffee is going to have their new drinks; Java Chip Frappuccino Blended Coffee and Chocolate Cream Frappuccino Blended Cream in their menu as to replace their promotional Rhumba Frappuccino, permanently. For those who love the mixture of coffee and chocolate, this is the optional for you.
Frankly, I prefer Java Chip Frappuccino although it tastes very sweet and the mixture of their rich coffee, cocoa and chocolate with milk that blend perfectly into smooth yummies delight.
Just ponder, I received the Starbucks International newsletter on their summer fruit Frappuccino blended beverages;Pomegranate Frappuccino® juice blend and Tangerine Frappuccino® juice blend for tropical retreat. How come in Malaysia they never introduce or make some promotional period for these drinks during this hot summer season. Instead they were promoting the Java Chip Frappuccino Blended Coffee and Chocolate Cream Frappuccino Blended Cream. Does it clash with the drinks on the hot summer days? Kinda heaty for the body.

I read the press release that stated:
“Starbucks hand-picked these flavors to capture the essence of summer,
knowing that our customers want the most refreshing beverages that surprise and delight their senses with appealing ingredients and unexpected tastes,” said Michelle Gass, senior vice president of Category Management. “The summer months – particularly July – are typically the ‘hottest’ times of the year for Frappuccino® blended beverages, our new thirst-quenching flavors are sure to tempt the taste buds throughout the year.”
Heard the rumours that Starbucks Malaysia has done with their own research/review that our Malaysians don't accept these fruity drinks. How wonder...
How unfortunate. Must be tasty for a perfect summer refresher.“Both beverages contain fruit juice, are naturally fat-free, low in calories, cholesterol-free and completely non-dairy. And like all Starbucks beverages, they can be customized with any flavor of Tazo® tea – caffeinated or caffeine free."

Melanie's Wedding at Melaka
So, my other colleagues were invited and we planned to go to Melaka together. We started our journey by stopping by at my place as the check-point. Before they came, I was busy preparing by putting on my make-up. While I was sitting on the floor and putting on the make-up, this snobbish cat, Com-Mon came onto my lap. I didn't ask him to come over but he came by himself.

Melanie's wedding was so amazing of the backdrop. Fresh roses surround the stage and the aisle. Live performance with soothing musics. Dinner was great and delicious.
Let the pictures speak itself. Say no more. (Actually lazy to tell further. Hee)

Donation?
Jeffery fetched me home that night. Before that, he wanted to go Maybank to check his current account availability. There I was waiting for him in the car while looking at the Indian lady who was wearing sunglasses with her bag on her shoulder while carrying a pink clear folder on her hand standing outside.
I was wondering why so late in the night she was standing alone outside the Maybank. Expected as I was, she was asking for donation in front of the Maybank. Whoa...

Here is Jeffery the victim.
My question that why is such a late night need someone to stand outside the bank for donation? Don't you think that is dangerous to that lady while wearing a sunglasses in the night?!! Doesn't she scare 'kena' rob by someone just in front of her while her bag contains some money?!!
Another question, is there a desperation of the needs for donation in the late night? Wondering who is the organisation such a cold-blooded asking for donation by sending this such old Indian lady in the late night.
World is changing. Everything is possible.

The Fastest Clock in the Universe

[Edited] Watched the play yesterday. It was an experimental play where it held at Pentas 2 that I've never been to. Pentas 2 was small with staging plastic chairs and it was free seatings. The people were piled up around the entrance in order to get the better viewed seat.
Before I begin, just let you know what the play is about - (Sources from KLPac)
The Fastest Clock in the Universe is the MUST SEE production of 2006. This multi award winning play by the equally awarded Philip Ridley, boasts a cast that is 'tailor-made' for this production.
The Fastest Clock in the Universe is a play on several levels. It tells the story of a 30-year-old who refuses to accept the fact that he ages on a yearly basis. This results in each birthday he celebrates being his 19th birthday.
Agonisingly funny, while at the same time frighteningly horrific, the play is sure to entertain even the most discerning theatre-goer. The one thing you must not do...is miss it!
Recommended for mature audiences only.
At first when I read what is the play about in the internet, I never expect the outcome.
The stage was designed with stuffed birds from dangle above the apartment and everywhere. Nice stage presented with antique not junk stuff. The first act acted by Gavin Yap as Cougar Glass with his half naked featured his six-pack body muscle, sunglasses, a pair of jean, black boots and puffing the cigarette while drinking a beer. Frankly, quite smelly the place with a lit of cigarette. Then there came in Ari Ratos as Captain Tock carrying a box of cake and Vocka. The language they spoke were quite vulgar with F*** words.
There were some obscene gestures during the play that you need to find your own. Heeheee.
Overall it was a nice play. Good performance Niki, Gavin Yap, Ari Ratos and Joanna Bessy (you're so cute in the act). :)

A lot of thing had happened but I don't know where to start that it seems that I had forgotten. Guess my brain didn't function properly, I need to take some supplements.
My collegue, George; now he is my ex-colleague who has left the company last month. We did something gather together that we had dinner at Chilis in Mid Valley. We enjoyed the dinner with laughter and heavy load in stomach. I took a lot of pictures. George, Ken, Wai Ling, Yvonne, Jeffery, Melanie, Vinod and me really enjoy the dinner. It was pity to have lost a capable talented young guy in our company and also my crazy craze friend who is bubbly talkative. We are gonna to miss him.

From that month itself, I take the opportunity to have leisure at work. I joined the editorial team to attend the press events on Over The Hedge movie orgainised by HP and Cars movie by EPSON. Both animation were good but Cars is more realistically humourous than Over The Hedge.

I caught up a phrase in my favourite scene from each animation movie:
Over The Hedge: The scene where the turtle, Verne got chased by a dog when the dog keep on barking said "Play! Play! Play".
Cars: By Guido: “Pit Stop! Pit Stop!” He changed the tires of Lightning McQueen in the race about 10seconds ALONE that made the Chick Hick's team-mates jawed down.

That's all for now. Got to keep on with works.

The Hare
Then I came across with this story called 'The Hare'. The story sounds like this:
One day the hare went to the house of the hunter who was away hunting. He said to the hunter's wife: 'Come to my house and live with me; we have meat and vegetables every day.' The woman went with him, but when she saw the lair of the hare and had eaten grass with him and slept in the open with him, she was not satisfied. She said: 'I want to go back.' The hare said: 'You came here by your own choice.' The woman did not know the road in the bush, so she said: 'Come with me and I will cook a nice dinner.' The hare took her to her house. Then she said: 'Get me some firewood.' The hare went to the forest and collected a load of firewood. The woman lit a fire and put a pot on it. When the water was boiling she put the hare into the pot. When the hunter came home she said: 'I caught a hare for dinner.' The hunter never knew what happened.
The end.
Actually this story was in 'PART ONE; Brave, Bold and Wilful Section' that most of the stories were centre around a female protagonist that putting together with the intention of giving the pleasure on how clever, or brave, or good, or silly, or cruel, or sinister, or unluck etc.
So the moral of the story is that you will know what does it mean. First I found the story was damn short and I was flipping the pages for more but its only in 1 page. I found it funny when I read for second time to understand the story. This story is bold and funny.
Looking forward to read other stories. I hope you catch the humour. :)

Yeah
See if you can relate to this one
Hope I'm not disturbing you
Because you look into thought right now

I feel that if I don't ask chance will pass
And I'll never see your face again,
I'll never see your face again. No
You maybe thinking I am strange
Not every single day, no, beauty comes my way, so
Do you believe in love at first sight
Tell me does that book that your reading
Tell the story of your life
Do u believe in love at first sight
Should I walk on by, turn a blind eye
To love, love at first sight.
I could be the man for you
I can make all your dreams come true
Maybe I'm a fool
For saying I'm in love with you
You may be thinking I am strange not every single day, no
Beauty comes my way
Ohhh
DO u believe in love at first sight
Tell me does that book that you're reading
Tell the story of your life
Do u believe in love at first sight
Should I walk on by, turn a blind eye
To love, love at first sight.
You Say farewell
I'll say so long
Say goodbye
I'll say your wrong
Cause here in my arms you belong
Woooo
Oooooooooooooooo
Do u believe in love at first sight
Tell me does that book that you're reading
Tells the story of your life
Do u believe in love at first sight
Should I walk on by, turn a blind eye
To love, love at first sight.
Do u believe in love at first sight
Tell me does that book that you're reading
Tells the story of your life
Do u believe in love at first sight
Should I walk on by, turn a blind eye
To love, love at first sight.
To love, love at first sight.

Bitter Sweet on My Birthday - Part 1

My brother told my niece that he is leaving somewhere to work that won't have the time to visit her. She was very unhappy, unwilling him to leave and she cried. Poor girl.
So on my birthday itself, mum, 3rd bro, 2nd, Cindy (his girlfriend) and me went to KL Central. From KL Central, my bro can take the KLIA Transit. My mum and Cindy followed him to KLIA while I just bid farewell to him at the KL Central. I couldn't follow him as I need to work and his flight at 10 something in the morning. I managed to take some photos with him. Here we are:

My bro looked somewhere, don't know what he looking at.
I wished him bon voyage and take care of himself. That's it. Saw him with Cindy and mum walked towards the transit entrance. In noon, I called mum to ask whether she cried or not. She said she got cried when Cindy cried. My bro cried too. Too bad I didn't follow them to capture the moments when they all cried.

Kids Klick Outing - organised by Photo Malaysia Forum - Putrajaya
Although I'm one of the community but I had missed few of the projects but I didn't miss this one. PhotoMalaysia.com has organised the Kids Klick outing at Putrajaya Mosque last Saturday. There were 30 kids from Bangi's Orphanage home (if I'm not mistaken) and almost 30 community members attended. 15 volunteers from the community members to help or to be the guidance of the children. Each volunteer to guide 2 kids of taking photographs around the Putrajaya Mosque. I was one of them with assisted by Wai Ling (my new colleague) to guide Nor (short form name, as his name is long) and Nasha (same to her name too, long). I was taking care of Nasha who is 7 years old and Wai Ling took care of Nor who is 9 years old. Nor and Nasha were both biological brother and sister. We took them around while they holding the Digi-Cam to shoot around. We teached them what angle to shoot and how to take a better pictures.
I was pity Nor as her fingers were short and small. Whenever she pressed the button to shoot, the camera went shaken but luckily the camera was P&S (point & shoot). She took some pictures that were good but I haven't seen Nor's pictures as he was using different Digi-Cam fom Nasha's.
It was a good experience on an outing with the orphans although we seldom use to go out to do some charity works as we were busy working on saving money for our better life. Never thought of the orphanages or the oldfolks to nourish their life by visiting them or do some charity works for them.
Although times with the orphanages was short but they do really enjoy themselve with shooting and had a great lunch at McDonald, Alamanda; thanks to the generous
man who was one of the community members, Uncle Noordin.
Nothing much to talk more about that, but can find out more on the CHIP Photo-Video Digital Magazine (which I worked for) on May issue or maybe can check on here.
And here are the pictures that I shoot by using the same camera as Nasha used to show the example how to shoot better pictures. She learns fast though. :)

Present from Minna
She finally gave me the answer and she made the confession of the present that she got to take the whole box in order to escape the airport taxes. I understand what she has gone through and I don't really care about the packaging.
She gave a UK-made parfum from DKNY. I have no idea that she gave me a parfum. It was a 'Be Delicious DKNY Eau De Parfum Spray 100ml/3.4oz'. She wanted to give me on my birthday but I told her instead that she had brought in here, why not just pass it to me. I'm anxiously want to use it that why I gave this reason. Hee ;)
So, I went to her house on 26th March to collect the gift. That day was supposed we get to clubbing but she got sick as she doesn't have enough rest right after her flight. Interesting that the next day she got to fly back and she wants to go for clubbing. Naughty her. Anyway, got her gift with a greeting card. CUTE. Adorable. Kawaii.

I think this is the first ever present in my life. Like the fragrance. Like the smell. Like the bottle. Like the present so much!!!
Thanks again, Minna!!!

Works had finished, life moves on...
On 18th March 2006 was my ex-collegemate, Mun Yee got married to her long-term boyfriend (now is her offcially husband, Inn Seng). I went to the groom's house with Erique and his wife, Falice (who both of them also my ex-collegemates) as we couldn't make it to the bride's house. We knew the groom well, so we waited them to come back with the bride. At about noon, the groom brought the bride to his house to have the tea ceremony with his entire families and relatives. They were crowded. You should see it yourself on these photos below:

The groom brought the bride to his place to meet his families & relatives and tea ceremony. The bride got alot of *blink blink* from the groom’s relatives. And they all happily to stay together as ONE heart.

Me with the bride, Mun Yee.
After the tea ceremony which took almost an hour, they both finally get to rest in their room. We took some photos in their bedroom and that was the day on the Big Day. They got to rest and continue with the process in the night.
During the wedding dinner, not much photos taken with the bride & groom cos their guests were over 500 people which was a huge hall with a big crowd. They only managed to 'yam seng' on the podium to the large crowd. This is pretty tiring.
But then I was really enjoyed myself with taking alot of photos with my other mates at our table.

Left: Chee Yen with her baby boy, Oscar who was just 2+months old. Right: Jeffery was trying to figure out how to carry this cute boy. Trying to have baby talk. :)
Here are the candid shots:

Group photos.
Here are the candid shots:

Top Left: The bride & groom on the end of the wedding dinner. The other photos: I was trying to have some candid shots with my mates. I like the bride's gown, sexy!
It was a really enjoying. Got to meet the other mates where someone who got married, that where we get together for once. Some other mates didn't come due to their own excuses. Chee Yen's baby is cute. Everyone looked pretty and gorgeous especially the bride!
Congratualtions and have a wonderful days ahead to Mun Yee & Inn Seng.

Meet Party on Monday??
I was wondering where shall we go for party/clubbing on MONDAY??! Monday is a working bored day which not many clubbers will be hanging around but only on those corporate people hang out at the pub/bar for happy hours.
Nevermind, Minna asked her galfriend, Tiffany to come along which mean 3 of us (gals) hang out at Outbreak Steakhouse at Bangsar Village. We just call cocktails for Minna and me, smoothies for Tiffany herself (she is the driver, so she can't just drink & drive). :)
Minna brought some photos to show us on her Korea trip that she haven't re-arrange into an album. She was compiling almost 50 photos while Tiffany and me were waiting like a nerd for the album. We got chat and while Minna busy arranging the photos. I'm happy to meet you, Tiffany although you were my junior high school. Nice knowing that you were the best buddy of Minna since Standard One.
Later on, there was 2 guys came when they gave Minna a call to find where she was and she invited them to join us. Since the more the merrier. Minna's friends; Kenneth and Neal. Nice meeting them too.
Past 12 midnight, Tiffany got to be home since the next day got to work and her parents worried about her. The Outbreak was closing and we ahead to the next round, yam cha session. Before that we took some photos and here are the few shots:

Frankly speaking, the guys (Kenneth & Neal) took the pictures were sucked. I think I shall give them one free session on 'how to shoot a nice potrait' so that they won't waste the memory card or the photographs. Sorry guys for being so sarcastic. But it's true guys. You need to brush up with your photography skill as a basic to attract the gals to fall on you. ;) Maybe someday, we might meet up again with Minna along to become the model.

After the shooting, we accompanied Tiffany to the carpark and bye-bye to her, we went to nearby mamak for the yam char. It was a nice conversation with the guys. Get to know them although Neal still studying dunno-I-forgotten what course he studied, something related to medical lab where else Kenneth is a businessman cum contractor.
Here were the some of the conversation that I picked:
Neal: So, you guys driving here?
Me: No. The gals dun drive here.
Minna: Kenneth drives here. The red car. (I was paused with question marks)
Neal: Oh, then how you gals goin back?!
Me: We gals here is waiting for volunteer to fetch us home.
Neal: Oh!
Minna: Kenneth's car only can fit himself. His car is very limited seats. Only can fit the baby-sit. (I was wondering what car he drives)
Neal: Oh, then how you gals goin back? I can drive you gals home.
Me: (pointed at Neal) You shouldn't said that. You should say, "I will fetch you gals home" without any more further any questions on how we goin back without a car.
(Minna was laughing while Kenneth just smiling)
Guys, sorry again for being so sarcastic. Anyway, thanks Kenneth for the mamak treats and thanks to Minna for the night itself. It cool to meet with your friends and had a funny-laugh chit-chat. Should do this more often. So that I won't be bored at home.
p/s: And thanks again for the birthday gift you bought for me in UK. Anxiously waiting and eager to use it. ;)p
