This year is ending...soon

I am particularly busy with work. I got no time to update my blog, not like last time. Just not because of this, I do have another reason is that my PC IS DAMN SLOW!!! Someone need to fix it for me, FREE! Anyone???

Here I would like to wish some people on their belated birthday:
To my beloved cousin-sis who lives over the sea, Minna.
To my best friend who seldom see him, Jeffery.

Anyway, back to the "The Mayonnaise Jar and 2 cups of Coffee" question. So far I got ONE visitor has answered it.
ken: Firstly, sand, Pebbles, Golf balls, lastly, two cups of coffee

To answer of what is the meaning of your own arrangement, let's read some intro about "The Mayonnaise Jar and 2 cups of Coffee"

When things in your life seem almost too much to handle,
When 24 Hours in a day is not enough,
Remember the mayonnaise jar and 2 cups of coffee.

A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him. When the class began, wordlessly, he picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls.

He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was.

The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls.

He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was.

The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else.

He asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with an unanimous 'yes.'

The professor then produced two cups of coffee from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar, effectively filling the empty space between the sand. The students laughed.

'Now,' said the professor, as the laughter subsided, 'I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life.

The golf balls are the important things - God, Family, Children, Health, Friends, and Favorite Passions -- things that if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full.

The pebbles are the other things that matter like your Job, House, and Car.

The sand is everything else --the small stuff.

'If you put the sand into the jar first,' he continued, 'there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls. The same goes for life.

If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff, you will never have room for the things that are Important to you.

So...

Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness. Play With your children. Take time to get medical checkups. Take your partner out to dinner. Play another 18. There will always be time to clean the house and fix the disposal.

'Take care of the golf balls first --the things that really matter. Set your priorities. The rest is just sand.'

One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the coffee represented.

The professor smiled. 'I'm glad you asked'. It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem, there's always room for a couple of cups of coffee with a friend.'

Please share this with someone you care about.

So to Ken, your priorities was all the small stuff then your job, car then God, family, health, favourite passions. You need to pay more attention to your 'Golf Balls first then lastly the sand. But you're always be there for friends for yam char or yam seng. Heeheeee

Okays, back to my blog's update.
Here I would like to announce that I AM PROUD TO BE A GOOD CITIZEN though it took such a long time to be one. I'VE GOT 'Buku Merah'! It means I'm a blood donor! Here is the picture.

It was my first time to donate my bloody blood which I had kept it to myself ALL THESE YEARS. I was so scared to see the thick needle into the vain where the freshy blood out from the body into a 'bag'. I wasn't sure what was the process but I could roughly know something. I took the courage to donate as my company was organizing in our premise.

It was from Pusat Darah Negara came into our office at 10am til 4pm. I had prepared myself to have enough breakfast, being calm, waiting for the time to go along with other colleagues, and here was it.

The process were these:
- Need to fill up a form and a card to ensure that we are free from the diseases, medication etc together with our info
- Get blood sample from your middle fingertip with disposal small needle which is no pain.
- Test the blood at the chart board to ensure what blood type and also to check our hemoglobin rate that capable to donate.
- Weigh to ensure we are enough heavy to meet their requirement, more than 45kg.
- Check our blood pressure and the doc will ask some question like whether got enough 8-hour sleep, coffee intake, sexual activity etc
- Register into Blood Bank data by getting our "Buku Merah" (for 1st-time like me) or updating your book
- Get prepare lying on the bed with all the documents.
- Nurse will find the vain to poke the needle to get your blood.

That's it.

I was so dramatized at the beginning when lied on the bed. I got nearly cried but didn't cry. Thank goodness I was lying next to Yi Hwa (my colleague) being supportive for not being afraid. She asked me not to look when the nurse doing her job to poke the needle. FYI, I need to donate 450ml of my blood. I screamed when I found out the pain but that was a very short one. My blood flowed very fast down to the 450ml bag while I need to squeeze my hand with the plastic pipe. I could feel the flowing blood from my body through the vain, like bubble-feel.

After finished filling up the 'bag', I saw the nurse took out the needle from my vain and it didn't feel any pain, at all. Still lying on the bed for about 10mins (I guess) then only can stand on the ground. Luckily I don't feel any dizzy or something but was given a cup of Milo, a pack of Lychee drink, 2-packet supplement pills, a bread and a pack of fruit biscuits. There you go, after you donate your blood you will get all these foods!

It was a good experience for donating my precious blood. Heeheee

After the volcano climb...next, what we do?? To be continued, again. Heeheee

Another pictures continued from Sau Hong's wedding luncheon on 25th November 2007:

Last Thursday, my colleague got an invite for a fine dining at new chinese restaurant at Bangsar Village, ReUnion. She asked me to come along as the PR company asking whether she is going with a partner. Here I am, the lucky one. I didn't take many pictures as I didn't bring my camera (since I got snatched, I dare not to bring camera in my bag). Instead I'd only took 3 pictures with my camera-phone. The ambience was contemporary yet tradition with the mixtured of 'yin & yang' concept. The dishes was great and 'fine'. I didn't know fine dining is a small portion of food served in a plate, very SMALL in quantity. Overall, the place is cosy; the foods were fresh but much with MSG (salty); services above moderate but a little lack of table manners; prices...I have no idea. :) But need to thanks for the PR company for inviting us.

Most recently

...finally get back to my norm of sleep, starting today. I've been into all 'nightlong' for about a week.

My life seem almost too much to handle when a day is not enough. I got so many things to do but I couldn't figure which is most important? What's important to your life? Which one will you do first in your life?

Here I came to this email from my colleague about "The Mayonnaise Jar and 2 cups of Coffee". It goes with an empty huge mayonnaise jar to fill with these items:
1- two cups of coffee drink
2- golf balls
3- sands
4- pebbles

Which one would you fill in with first?
There's a meaning behind of the arrangement once you've decided.

To some of you might have read about this.
Post yours in Comment Box or in Chatterbox.
:)

Update:
I'd attended a wedding luncheon of my ex-collegemate, Sau Hong at Sri Kembangan last Sunday. I've met most of them since the last gathering when I got snatched. Didn't know Chee Yen got her 2nd child, Isaac. He was so cute who is just 2-month old and he looks exactly like his elder bro, Oscar. To some of them are planning to get married next year...

I know I do attend alot of weddings this year as you can see most of my photos are. Friends were asking me when is my day. I told them I couldn't find anyone who is compatible. I wish to get married and have few kids by taking care of them, no need to work. A good life ahead with happiness. Guess this is just a dream....

Anyway, post a picture here (from Joe's):

Bali Trip

Thanks to everyone who was concern about my safety and been asking me what was happened to me since "I got snatched by moron thieves". Thanks for caring. I'm grateful to have you people around. :)

My Bali trip was fun and adventurous. Mixed with other staff in my companies that I barely get to know them though have seen them before, but still to some I don't really recall their names....*shame on me* But to think of it, it wouldn't expect me to remember 125 staff's name...that's way too many. hehehee

Oh, it was my first trip to Bali for 3days 2nights. Finally I get to go on company trip which I've never before though there were ex-company do have but in another terms of way for the employees to go.

Anyway, cut the crap, here are the photos:

I got so many photos of Bali trip. Will upload some next post (if I'm free). Heeehee

I got snatched but I didn't lose anything...

Yesterday night, I was meeting up with my bunch of ex-collegemates at Kuchai Lama Oldtown coffee shop. One of them is getting married and he is giving us an invitation card. At least 12 of us were there chit-chatting for hours.

Later on I was meeting up with Irene and her friend, Shiwan for a late movie where they were fetching me at the coffee shop. Irene wanted to go to the Maybank which was nearby to press some money while I was waiting outside. I didn't went inside to wait instead outside the glass door.

Something bad happened very fast.

I could feel someone touching my shoulder where I was carrying my bag on my right shoulder. At first I was thinking maybe someone that I knew came to say 'hello' or something but then someone snatched my bag before I could see that person. I screamed while I was falling down on the ground. I was falled onto my bag. That moron thief couldn't get my bag. I screamed out Irene's name to let her know what's going on cause she wasn't aware as she was facing on the ATM machine. She quickly came out and shouted at him with 'Hoi'. That moron thief got scared but he was trying to pull/grab my bag for second attempt. Then he hopped on the motocycle with his buddy, the rider. I was standing up while looking at them fled away and I couldn't spot the number plate. But Irene has spotted the motorcycle's number plate. TO READERS, THE MORON THIEVES" NUMBER PLATE IS JKL 5789 WITH AN EX5 MOTOR. BEWARE OF THIS WHILE YOU'RE AROUND AT QUITE AREA IN KUCHAI LAMA OR AT THE BANK.

Basically I was their random victim which they haven't survey whether I had withdrawed money out from the bank. I was just standing out the bank while waiting for my friend who was withdrawing the money. But luckily I didn't lose my bag which had my valuable things. And luckily enough my bag was tough, didn't broke off of its handles. I just got small blue-black bruises on my right knee and on my left hand.

But to Irene and Shiwan, they were got scared when they knew that incident happened especially to Irene as she was shivering after she shouted at that moron thief.

After the incident, Irene wanted to report to the police as we had the number plate but we couldn't find the 'pondok polis' at Kuchai Lama. It was dark at night and we couldn't spot it. Terrible. In the end, while we were heading to our movie, Irene was calling the police by reporting the incident. She explained everything included by giving the number plate but that caller 'police' told her to report at the nearest police station. Guess they just want the official report on a piece of paper which they can refer to do the actions.

Kinda sad to see this such pathetic help from them.

As my thoughts, they wouldn't want to do the actions if they know that my bag was safe, it wasn't snatched by them. They find this as case closed until the next 'victim' has her bag snatched and she was badly wounded, then only they will do something. Duhh...

I've tried to surf on the police's webpage and pathetically their official webpages are in 'Bahasa Melayu'. How do you expect some tourist or whoever don't read that language to know better on our country's defense services? I was checking on their 'report to police' section and I saw their chart. There one chart says that if the case is accepted, then only they will catch the thieves. Guess as for my case could be not accepted cause I didn't lose my important documents as in the bag and I wasn't badly injured. I just got a little shocked from the incident. So, CASE CLOSED!

I told some of my friends about what had happened to me. They said I was lucky that I'm still alive and didn't lose anything. Bad luck was happened by the premature thieves. To some thieves were insane that might cause our lives for their fortune. Some cases were in the newspaper that some victims were stabbed or slashed to snatch their bag or even dragged them along on the harsh tar-road while victims holding on the bag and wouldn't let it go.

I should be grateful that I'm still could posting this into my blog. Lesson learnt. My mum always told me not to holding the bag on the shoulder while walking alone on the roadside or wherever which easily target for the snatch-thieves. I wouldn't listen cause I always careful with my bag that I always grab my bag closely. Now...mum's advises are always right. Never ever not to listen to them as they are more experiences to us. Parents always care of us and they know what we CAN do. They are more concern about our safety rather than our own self.

Well, folks. I'd learnt my lesson here. For you out there to be more extra careful when you're alone at somewhere. Be company with someone as long as you're not alone.
My friends advised me to have pepperspray or flash light.

But thankfully that I was with Irene and Shiwan that someone was there to help me, if not something worse could have happened.
