Cum-Mom

Think of my cat, Cum-Mom; he always be there for me whenever I come back from work most late in the night. I thought it was sweet to have him around waiting at the door or greet me with his low-tone of 'meow'. But I found out it was his way to have me to pour some of his catfood, biscuits in his plate.

Zoyee's Wedding on End of June 2007

Yah, I know its August and now only I post some pictures of that event was happened last month.
It was my ex-collegemate's wedding at Sunway Resort Hotel at the end of June. Met most of my other collegemates. I got tanned right after I came back from Cambodia trip and everyone said I looked dark. :)



On July, Zoyee invited me and the others to become her 'chee-mui' on her pre-wedding day. I'm excited cause it was my first time to get angpow from the Groom before he get to get in the Bride's house. I didn't take photos of that scenes, so nothing much to see. :)

The next morning, we got up to catch our very 1st morning bus to Siem Reap. We ate our breakfast very neaby the guesthouse which was just next door.

Cambodia - Part One

Ya, I was in Cambodia for 6 days 5 nights trip in 14th-19th June 2007. I went with my colleague and her boyfriend. 3 of us went there with RM175 Air Asia return tickets at Phnom Penh that we'd booked earlier this year. Supposingly 5 of us going but that couple couldn't get to apply leaves.

I was excited to go beyond overseas to see other country's cultural and lifestyle. Its an eye-opener to see other's culture which is far away from developed country after the civil war and the Khmer Rouge. The weather was high humidity during the southwestern monsoon and it rain in the night time.

First day, we arrived at Phnom Penh International Airport, we went to Killing Field by taxi. Then we headed to our guesthouse in town to check-in our luggage. Later we walked down the street to have our dinner. And we walked back to our guesthouse. That time, the street was blackout which affected in our guesthouse too. We waited for few minutes, the electricities were back and we all slept soundly after the journey from the flight.

Away~

Not much time to do editing on my hundreds ton of photos when I was far far away from Malaysia for a trip.

I would love to show them all here but give me sometimes. I know most of my friends are anticipating to see my photos.

Explore the SHAPE of things to come....

SHAPE is a active lifestyle magazine for women in Malaysia Edition which had launched on 25th May at 1Utama. The event was successful with RSVP guests and celebrities. It started with official launch of the magazine followed by Editor's speech then presentation and performances on cheerleading, yoga demonstration, singing and dancers. Booth sponsors were set-up to giveaways freegifts/services whenever purchase a SHAPE magazine.

I was there for the official launch and on Saturday for the roadshow where I got to sell the magazines. It were tired days where I got to meet the dateline for the incoming issue and these functions.

Baby Logan

Baby Logan was born in the month of March who Vikram & Ashley's first child. Since the day when he was born, I never get to visit the mum and baby due to circumstances. Finally I get to meet the baby when he is just 2 months old. I was excited to meet Logan and he is very cute. His dad is an Indian and his mum is Chinese, so baby Logan is a 'mixed'-ChinDian. Baby Logan is lovely mixed and I couldn't figure it out who does he look alike to whom. My mum said the baby looks like the father. Oh, well; every each days pass, the baby will change and by the time is appropriate then we could figure who does Logan look alike.

But the parents are going back to Japan as the dad is working based in Japan. Baby Logan is lucky to take a flight with his parents but I was so worried about his condition of taking flight. Don't know when to get to see baby Logan again. There we were having a lunch together with Irene and her friend. It was quite in a rush to have lunch as the next day they got to take flight back to Japan. It was sweet day to get together with baby Logan. 'Kawai-i'.

A Wedding, Grandma's Birthday...

Days running pretty fast and it has been 2 weeks I was away to update the blog. Life wasn't easy since I got my new job. I guess you people has been reading my blog will already knew I've been repeating the same quetch. Full workloads with tight datelines. I've got to be multitask as not only working for my Head of Department but to Editorial Department. Phew... A lot of procedures got to be followed and sometime I got mixed up till my brain couldn't think anymore but stressed out. A long list await to be done at the same day, which is pretty tough to handle.

Although weekdays were filled with workloads but there certain time to hang out. I got a mini belated birthday; again which bought by WeiLee as promised to treat for my birthday. It was very nice small cake which enough to fill 2 of us. I can't remember the place we had the cake as I'm getting very short-term memory. It was a great day to hang out with delicious cake and nice horror movie. 'Spirit of the Victim', a Thai horror movie is recommended.

Anyhow, for the past 2 weeks I've been eating non-stop. First was my cousin-sis' wedding dinner then my grandma's birthday and then cousin-sis' tea ceremony buffet dinner. My cousin-sis, Siew Peng got married on Labour Day but she had her wedding dinner reception before she got registered. After that she has her 'tea ceremony' at her house in the next day.

My grandma's birthday was on Labour Day; 1st of May. She is in her early 80s. As you know she has in physical difficulty and wasn't strong. But she was enjoying the day of her celebration gathered with her children, grandchildren and a great grand-daughter.

During the dinner. I know my face was red due to red wine intake. I wasn't drunk but easily get reddish on my face in just a few sips.


At the end of the dinner night:


After the 3 days of foods intake, my stomach was uneasy and in pain. It was painful till I felt like I got a gastric. I didn't go to see doctor. I was burping all the times and nearly wanted to vomit while in pain. I drank some warm/hot water and it was okay then. Luckily wasn't serious as I thought. I think my digestion was that good like last time.
